WuPs (What's ur Pet status) is a registered non-profit trust based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, dedicated to enhancing the welfare of pet animals. We believe that responsible pet ownership should be a status symbol, reflecting care, compassion, and commitment. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support for pet animals and their owners, ensuring every pets lives a healthy, happy, and secure life.

Medical Aid
Providing medical assistance to pets in need, including vaccinations, treatments, and preventive care.

Adoption
Facilitating the adoption of pet animals into loving homes, ensuring a good match between pets and owners.
Financial Support
Providing financial support to pet owners who may struggle with the costs of pet care, ensuring no pet goes without essential needs.

Currently, WuPs operates primarily in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. We are actively working to expand our services to other regions, aiming to reach more pet animals and communities in need. Captain H. Kumar
Founder & Managing Trustee
Captain H. Kumar is a seasoned mariner with over two decades of sailing experience across the world's oceans. Having grown up surrounded by animals, his love and compassion for them have been a constant part of his life. A true animal lover at heart, he has personally adopted more than 30 dogs, 10 cats, and 20 cows, giving each one a safe and loving home. His lifelong commitment to animal welfare and his dream of creating a kinder world for all living beings led him to establish this trust. With a mission to reach every corner where animals need care, Captain Kumar continues to steer the organisation with empathy, dedication, and a sailor's spirit of service.
Amitav Kumar

A young animal lover whose heart is filled with compassion for every living being. His passion for rescuing and caring for animals has already made a beautiful difference. From adopting fishes, turtles, dogs, cats and birds at home to helping animals in need, Amitav believes that love and kindness can heal every soul. His pure dedication reminds us that even the smallest hands can make the biggest change.
Poornima Kumar

From a young age, Poornima has felt a deep connection with animals — a bond that has only grown stronger through her journey as a classical dancer and mental health counsellor. She believes pets are healers in disguise, bringing peace, joy, and emotional strength to those around them. Her passion for animal care and mental well-being beautifully comes together in her mission to create a world filled with love and kindness for all living beings.

Saravana Prasath is the backbone of WuPS, overseeing the entire organisation with dedication and compassion. As the main driving force behind day-to-day operations, he ensures that every animal in need receives timely care and attention. His deep love for pet animals and his kind, gentle nature make him a beloved figure among both the team and the animals they serve. Saravana's commitment to animal welfare and his hands-on approach to management inspire everyone around him to give their best for the voiceless creatures who depend on us.
