Volunteer Requirements

Age 18 or older (or 16+ with parental consent)

Genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare

Ability to commit a minimum of 4 hours per month

Willingness to learn and follow WuPs guidelines and procedures

Physical ability to handle dogs of various sizes (for certain roles)

Do I need prior experience with dogs?

No prior experience is necessary! We provide training and orientation for all new volunteers. Your passion and willingness to learn are what matter most.

What is the time commitment?

We ask for a minimum commitment of 4 hours per month, but you're welcome to volunteer more if your schedule allows. Flexibility is important to us.

Will I receive training?

Yes! All volunteers attend an orientation session and receive role-specific training. We also provide ongoing support and learning opportunities.
